The Hon Julie Bishop, a woman of many ‘firsts’, needs no introduction. Serving as Australia’s Foreign Minister, she was the first woman to hold the role, along with being the first female Deputy Leader of the Federal Liberal Party. She is also the first female to hold the role of Chancellor at The Australian National University. Julie had a much-celebrated 20-year political career, and now chairs the boards of many charitable institutions along with running her own consulting firm.

Miranda Tapsell is a proud Larrakia and Tiwi woman, multi award-winning actor, producer and author. No doubt you’ll recognise her from the movie Top End Wedding, a movie Miranda produced, co-wrote and starred in. Miranda has also acted in The Dry alongside Eric Bana and is renowned for her role in Channel Nine’s drama, Love Child as well as her performance in the film The Sapphires. Miranda, a woman of many talents, also co-hosts a podcast Debutante, exploring beauty, race and class.

At just 22 years old, Yasmin Poole has achieved a lifetime of recognition for her contributions towards creating a fairer Australia. Yasmin won the 2021 Youth Influencer of the Year Award from The Martin Luther King Jr Centre, plus countless other awards over the years. Her work has lead her to be part of the Victorian Government’s Youth Congress and become an Ambassador for Plan International and the World Bank. She now serves as a board member of Oz Harvest and YWCA Australia.
